What types of ads can you run on TikTok?

There are different types of advertisements you can display on TikTok. Understanding the different types of advertising is important in determining the effective coordination of your business goals.

Here are five types of TikTok ads:

  • Import announcements.
  • take the mark
  • see above.
  • The hashtag challenge.
  • Significant impact.

TikTok Ads: Import Ads

In-feed ads have a similar feel to the Instagram ads you encounter when scrolling through endless Instagram stories. It appears among other videos on the For You (FYP) page.

It is designed to make your TikTok experience seamless. They usually last between 9 and 15 seconds and have a single editable call (CTA).

In order to grab the attention of end users, these advertisements should be eye-catching and attractive. This will help improve the chances of the end user interacting with your ad.

TikTok Ads: Brands

Once you open the app, an ad will appear. It will be a brand advertisement.

If you want to create awareness among a large audience, this type of advertising will be the best to achieve this goal. Once the advertisement is presented to the user after opening the app, it will also appear in the FYP.

If you're a small business or just getting started with TikTok ads, this may not be the most effective advertising model. These ads can be very expensive due to their large size.

A review of KPIs and performance metrics will be important in deciding which format to follow.

TikTok Ads: TopView

Based on branded ads, TopView ads are similar, but instead of appearing immediately when users open the app, they appear in your feed after three seconds.

TikTok Ads: The Branded Hashtag Challenge

Are you looking for a unique type of TikTok ads? Consider using a hashtag challenge ad.

When you create these types of ads, you encourage users to create self-generated content using hashtags of their choice.

When the end user clicks on your sponsored hashtag, they'll be taken to a TikTok landing page with your logo, a link to your website, and a description of the challenge you're facing.

This information determines the path of creativity for end users.

It's important to remember that these ads require you to set clear goals before running the ad.

You decide if you want this hashtag challenge to raise awareness of your product, generate leads, or improve brand awareness.

Unpacking the details will help you set clear criteria for your hashtag challenge.

TikTok Ads: Brand Impact

Like Snapchat, TikTok allows brands to advertise with stickers and filters.

These ads can last up to 10 days and encourage end users to interact directly with your brand.
