I work full time

For the full-time option, you must be willing to devote 38 hours per week to studying. You will typically have 14 contact hours during weeks 1 and 2 of the semesters.The course is a mixture of lectures, tutorials, workshops and labs, with these sessions detailed in the description of each module.

In addition, each module offers workshops of 2 hours per week in individual consultation with the teacher. During the year, you may have special meetings with the program director, personal mentor, and / or courses to discuss your academic progress and personal development.

Self Study: You must join and participate in class discussions by regularly using our online resources to prepare and summarize assignments in lectures and workshops, including our virtual learning environment (VLE). Approximately 24 hours of self study, review and reflection on the assignment in semesters 1 and 2.

In the third semester, you will conduct independent research for your thesis (or project within the organization), and this should again be 38 hours per week. You will be assigned a dedicated academic advisor who will support you, with whom you can communicate regularly.

Part time option

For the part-time option, you must be willing to devote approximately 19 hours per week to your studies. In most weeks you will have 7 hours of training contact. The teaching is a mix of lectures, tutorials, workshops and laboratories, the details of which are provided in the description of each module.

Additionally, each module has weekly surgical time for a personal consultation with the instructor. During the year, you may have special meetings with the program director, personal mentor, and / or courses to discuss your academic progress and personal development.
