Marketing Agency Adams & Knight Announces Slew Of Hires, Including New Director Of Public Relations

Connecticut-based integrated marketing agency Adams & Knight announced Friday that it is hiring, including a new director of public relations.

Five employees will join Adams & Knights to expand the agency's public relations, video production, paid media and program management capabilities, the company announced in a press release.

A notable name among the few executives hired by Adams & Knight is former journalist Michelle Bonner, director of a public relations agency.

In addition, Malcolm Little will join the company as media manager, Karisma Pinto as senior marketing program manager and Carson Baumquist as creative producer. Finally, Tess Meyers joined the agency as a project manager.

"We are thrilled to welcome such talented and passionate individuals to our growing team," said Jill Adams, CEO of Adams & Knight. "Each brings new perspectives and extensive experience that will further strengthen our agency's capabilities and help our clients achieve their marketing goals."

Bonner comes after a long career in television journalism including ESPN, CNN and Fox. He previously worked as a consultant for a large non-profit organization in Hartford, Connecticut.

Bonner's newly created position as director of communications focuses on implementing media strategies and overseeing public relations plans for healthcare clients.

Meanwhile, Little brings to Adams and Rider experience in strategizing, executing and managing complex media campaigns. He previously worked at Outfront Media planning and managing digital marketing campaigns.

Pinto, meanwhile, brings his project management experience to the position of senior program marketing manager, which focuses on travel and lifestyle, as well as healthcare and education.

Pinto previously worked as a marketing specialist for New Park Innovations and held various marketing positions with Leadership Greater Hartford and Hartford Yard Goats.

Blomkvist, meanwhile, will focus on the agency's video campaigns and brings experience in writing, producing and editing for film and television. Finally, Myers has client experience from his previous job at Liberty Mutual.

The hire is the latest in a staffing shakeup at the agency's early 2023 start, with global communications firm SCIRIS appointing Isaac Ballien as CEO earlier this week.
